Cool! Although, I would feel sort of weird wearing it in public... I don't know why, just the looks and format and stuff.

Looks...okay... Wonderful idea though!
I would probably only wear that when I go play tennis or something like that.
You might want to do t-shirts, hoodies, or jackets.
I could make a great design! I've always loved fashion designing!
On the t-shirt, jacket, or hoodie, there could be a pencil zooming around writing or saying "I'm a Kidpub Author!" and on the back would be websites and supporters.

I like Max's idea...I would honestly opt more for a hoodie or maybe sweatpants, but good idea!

You know what would be cool? A KidPub Beanie!!! Black for boys, and pink for girls. It could have a pencil on it and say I'm a KidPub Author!!!! The hoodie idea sounds sooo cool!! Maybe Yoga jackets that have "I'm a KidPub author!!" on the back, and as Max said, for extra $$ you could get your name emblazoned on the front. Oh!! And sweatpants would be awesome!!!! You should make a whole line of this stuff!! You could even make notebooks and pencils and erasers... WOW!! I'm on a roll here!!

I don't think I would wear that hat to places...(no offence but it doesn't match any of my clothes!) But maybe I would wear the shirt, and heres my design for it. On the front, it could be something funny like, "Take a picture of me now because soon I will be a great author" And a 'kidpub' polo. And on the back could be the names of all kidpubbers. THAT would be cool! And how about Magnets? With navy blue (like the background of kidpub) and a kidpub logo or something...

if u wanted them to stand out maybe u should do them in all different neon colors, or maybe t-shirts or somthin. that would be cool

Awesome! I always wanted to wear like a t-shirt to public places that say like: I'm Kazel from KidPub! But the Idea of a Hat is Practical, you really don't need to wash it and you can kinda wear it all the time. However, I agree with the lot of others, you should change the colour, if it's not too hard, you know.
But I would love to wear this as a tee-shirt or a hat! If it does make it to a tee-shirt, I like Maliak's idea of all the names of KidPub Authors on it!
I've had enough experience wearing things like this in public-- I wear my Gryffindor Sweatshirt ALL THE TIME! So-- neat!

PS A Pencial or Pen could work too...

For the hat design: you could have them in like a navy and purple. then it could show a pencil writing on a flat notebook saying Kidpub. The "I'm a Kidpub author" is good and all but... yeah...

Sorry guys, but I don't agree with dark colors. Those are the colors of my hideous uniform and I hate those colors. I mean blue and navy would sound good, but black, er...
We should try a variety of colors. Like pink, red, purple, orange, white (one of my fave colors, very calm), teal, light blue (or turquiose), blue, green, yellow, ect. No tan though, except for sports bags or jeans.
Oi! We could make keychains! They could say "kidpub", or have a pencil, or have our names, ect. So cool!

Wouldn't it be great if we had a KidPub sports jacket? Everyone loves those things- we can get two different colors in too. Perhaps a dark blue and an off-white? Then we could write KidPub on the front in a fancy font with a pencil under it. On the sleeves we could have our names but in smaller size and still white.

What do you think?

I think notebooks would be cool. Pencils and pens are really cheap if you buy them from oriental trading or something.

Perry, if you wanted I could make a template if you wanted and email it to you, if you like that.
Then the people interested in designing a hat could make a design on there and scan it in and email it to you. Just a thought.
That is a great idea and I LOVE the idea for notesbooks.
Maybe a notebook cover contest?

Beanies would be cool!!!!!!!

I think that you should make an entire line of hats, pencils, notebooks, and even little push bears wearing KidPub T-Shirts and holding little pencils and pads. The Hat design you could make look like notebook paper with "I'm a KidPub Author" on the front. You could put a colorful cover on the notebooks and a special print for the pencils.

I think everyones ideas should be made into one big project. Every person will make one design for one thing and send it to you by e-mail. It could be a contest, as someone suggested earlier. I think its a great way to show that we are creative. At the end of the contest, you could post a link to a site of all the contest entries!

This is such a fab idea!!! I think a beanie would be really cool... maybe in different color combinations or something. I like the black and hot pink one, becauuse i LOVE those colors together.
But I also like the idea about a notebook cover. It would give more room for... well... design... I'll email perrry about the notebooks.
PENS and PENCILS are also a great idea as well!! This is so cool! We shoudl like have a contest to work out the design!!

I got this idea off of Warriorcats.com.... they have a template out that you need to print out on Iron-On Paper (available at Craft Stores) and Iron it on a Shirt or Hat or something. SO why don't we make a KidPub message like that? An Iron-on Template. If you (Perry) are looking to make a profitt, then you can just make us pay for access to the template. Well, it's just an idea, I mean you can Iron it on like a shirt, or a hat or a sweatshirt or something.

Totally off the subject of iron-ons, what about if you had t-shirts that on the front said "Writer" in either type-writer font or script, and on the back said "www.kidpub.com". it'd be recognizable, but not dopey.

*and if hoodies and stuff are too expensive, how about a T-shirt? those are pretty cheap and maybe you could find like sponsors and put them on the back to help with the cost???
